The history of the Barrabool Cricket Club stretches back to January 1863, when it was first noted with the first formal meeting at the club grounds. It is proudly one of the oldest founded Cricket Clubs in the Geelong and Bellarine Districts which all members are very proud of the significance and meaning.

Since that time the club has developed a reputation as a successful and well administered sporting body. The on-field success of the club since then is indicated by the consistent performances of club teams at all levels.
